St Andrews Medical Centre - IMPORTANT UPDATE
APPOINTMENT SYSTEM CHANGES DUE TO CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC
WE ARE, AND REMAIN, A TOTAL TRIAGE SYSTEM.
PLEASE DO NOT QUEUE OUTSIDE THE SURGERY & DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT IN PERSON AS YOU WILL BE ASKED TO GO HOME AND PHONE.
To book an appointment:
1. Call reception after 8.30am
2. Use our Online Consulting Application – eConsult
For access to your doctor, self-help information or for administrative questions such as test results or sick notes, please use eConsult which is our new online service.
eConsult has been introduced to get answers to you by the end of the next working day as we appreciate that it can be difficult getting through to us on the phone - particularly in the current circumstances.
There will be URGENT appointments available on the day, or ROUTINE appointments available in the future with either a Doctor or an Advanced Practitioner. Please note, ALL appointments will be phone calls. Should further clarification be required the patient will then be offered a face to face appointment. However, these appointments remain very limited for patient and staff safety
If you do have to come to the surgery please ensure that you are wearing a face mask or face covering. Do not be alarmed if the doctor or nurse seeing you is wearing a mask, gloves or taking other precautions. This is to ensure that we protect both our patients and team so we can remain safely open.
For more information on wearing and making a face covering please go to:
