Teaching Involvement

Medical, nursing and other allied health professional student 

We are a teaching practice, and so nursing, medical and other allied health professional students sometimes sit in with the clinicians at SAMC. If you prefer not to have a student sitting in, please let the doctor or receptionist know. 

Junior Doctor and General Practitioner Registrars

Foundation year doctors, and speciality training doctors in general practice are often attached to the practice and are fully qualified doctors gaining experience in general practice. 

Videoing Consultations

As part of on-going training some clinicians may on occasion video their consultations. Consent is always obtained from patients prior to their appointment being videoed. You can of course have the opportunity to decline.
