How to register for Patient Access
Patient Access is a great online service which allows you to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your medical records and send secure messages to the practice. The services is open 24/7/365 and can be accessed from your home PC, Tablet or Mobile phone.
Register to use the system
You will need to visit SAMC and bring with you:
- photo ID e.g. passport or driving licence, (or if you don't have photo ID, a paper copy of your driving licence), for governance and confidentiality reasons
- a completed form
- You will see that we are taking this opportunity to offer you additional services which we believe will help our communications with you
- You will be given your registration ID details enabling you to complete your registration online
This ‘once off’’ registration will also give you access to other online services e.g. online repeat prescriptions and access to your medical records (see also the 'About Patient Access' on the left menu)
